Rebuilding & Refurbishing Equipment

Sebewaing specializes in rebuilds and refurbs. We have the equipment and knowledge to rework almost any heavy machinery. We also have decades of experience rebuilding plastics processing equipment such as pelletizers, pumps, pressure vessels, mixers, and strand dies.

We can inspect equipment and do simple bearings, seals, and gaskets replacement, or an entire overhaul, which could include mechanical, electrical, and computer controls to meet all of the latest process requirements and electrical classifications.

Machines can be re-engineered and modified to increase productivity and efficiency. For example, Dow recently had us rebuild and modify a plastic pelletizer for greater throughput, which meant we had to increase the RPMs, which in turn required precise balancing of all moving parts, and upgraded seals and bearings.
